Key: If it says 'most pleased' it is written by Christian
Our group, 1B, consists of Christian and David.
Before the 16th of March
When we built our robot, we did it quickly. In fact, we were the first group to finish. With the help of Lachlan Jones, Christian Jones and Declan Spencer, our robot was finished by our third session. We named our robot Eric.

After playing around with our robots and the programming application, we were quite familiar with it all. So we were ready to take on...
THE PEDESTRIAN CHALLENGE
Our first try was rather unsuccessful, our robot only got about three quarters of the way there. Our second try was much more successful, it was about 1 or 2 centimetres off the line, and on our third try we practically aced it. Eric was only a few millimetres off the line. We were most pleased.

The Assessment
360 SPIN
Today we received our second challenge. Each group was given a sheet with a set of dance moves our robot needed to perform. We started off with the 360 spin our first try we attempted to use the light sensor and a piece of sticky tape, unfortunately it didn't work as Eric would always bounce back the second he hit the tape. On our next try, our robot went about a quarter too far. However, the try after that was highly successful and we got it perfect. Unfortunately, the teacher chose that moment to end the session so we had to wait a whole week for the teachers to mark our spin.

We finally got to have our spin marked. We thought it was perfect, and apparently so did the teachers! We got a 5/5 with 3 extra ticks. We were most pleased. So we began to construct our next dance move.
THE SNAKE
We had to make our robot move like a snake, it was very difficult if you ask me... but we did it and we got 6/5! freakin' awesome.
THE SHIMMY
The shimmy was an easy one for us. 'It was quite easy if you know what you're doing' says Dr. David. We did it fast and we did it perfect. A 5/5 was an expected mark and we were most pleased. (Yes, Christian wrote this.)

SENSORS AND MOTORS
Harry joined our group when we got to the sensors and motors part of the assessment. We used the light, touch, and sound sensors, we got 5/5, hellz yeah...
FIGURE 8 OR 2D SHAPE
For this part of the assessment we had to do a figure 8 or 2D shape, we chose to attempt the figure 8. It was alright but we didn't end up in the exact same position, so we got a 4/5 but we made up for the lost point by the 6/5 we got on the snake part of the assesment, so overall we got 25/25
Ze Dance
We started the dance and we decided to do a remix for our robot dance. The songs we chose were Magic by B.o.B, Yeak 3x by Chris Brown, The Lazy Song by Bruno Mars and Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO, Goonrock and Laura Bennet. David mixed the songs on Audacity.
Our dance is going well so far. We've already made the start of it and it is pretty perfect even though we are only a few seconds into it...
We are still going on the 'Magic' part of the song (about 10 seconds through).
Since we are only a small part of the way through the song we hope to get a move on. We are just going to do some spins and hopefully do some 2D shapes...
We did some spin and it looks good. But alas, my remix is now stuck in my head.... I've created a MONSTER!!!
Mrs. Cooper is just marking out the area for our dance and I found out it is a square not a circle so that throws out about three ideas I had in my head out the window. Anyway, the square is three metres by three metres. So we will have to be careful with how big we make our performance.
